📓 Role Overview
We are looking for a highly technical AI Automation Specialist who understands GoHighLevel (GHL) inside and out and can design, build, and maintain advanced automation systems that power our marketing, sales, and internal operations.
This role requires someone who is comfortable working across automation tools, APIs, AI-assisted development, and system architecture to connect multiple platforms into a cohesive, scalable infrastructure.
You will play a critical role in building and maintaining the automation backbone of the company.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing:
GoHighLevel Expertise
Build, manage, and optimize GHL snapshots, workflows, triggers, and automation systems
Maintain CRM structures, pipelines, tags, and automation logic
Troubleshoot and improve existing automations and integrations
Build scalable snapshot frameworks for internal use and client deployments
Automation Development
Build and maintain automations using tools such as:
n8n
Zapier
Other automation/orchestration platforms
Design workflows that connect multiple tools and data sources
Ensure reliability, logging, and monitoring of automation processes
API & Integration Management
Implement and maintain API integrations and webhooks
Connect platforms including CRM systems, AI tools, marketing platforms, and internal applications
Debug integration failures and ensure reliable data flow between systems
Design scalable integration architecture
Google Tag Manager
Implement and maintain tracking infrastructure using Google Tag Manager
Deploy and manage tracking tags for marketing platforms and analytics tools
Ensure events and tracking data are properly structured and captured
Maintain consistency of tracking across funnels, websites, and landing pages
Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure data accuracy
Data Analytics
Ensure clean data flow between platforms and analytics systems
Support the tracking of key business events and marketing attribution
Maintain reliable event tracking across marketing funnels and CRM systems
AI-Assisted Development
Use AI development tools such as Replit, Cursor, and similar platforms to rapidly build internal tools and integrations
Prototype and deploy lightweight applications to support operations and automation
Leverage AI to accelerate development and problem-solving
System Architecture
Understand how frontend systems, backend systems, and APIs interact
Design automation systems that connect multiple services and databases
Ensure systems are scalable, efficient, and maintainable

We’re looking for someone who is extremely comfortable working inside GoHighLevel and has a strong passion for automation, systems, and integrations. The ideal candidate thinks in terms of systems and data flows, is AI-native and confident in building tools with AI assistance, and understands how to seamlessly connect multiple platforms into one cohesive ecosystem.
Technical
Deep expertise with GoHighLevel
Experience building complex workflows, snapshots, and automations
Strong understanding of API integrations and webhooks
Experience with automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, etc.)
Familiarity with tag/event management systems
Development & AI Tools
Experience using AI coding tools (Cursor, Replit, etc.)
Basic development experience (JavaScript / Python preferred)
Ability to read and understand APIs and technical documentation
Understanding of system architecture (frontend/backend/data flow)
Problem Solving
Ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems
Strong logical thinking and debugging skills
Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with Make (Integromat)
Experience with custom backend services
Experience building internal SaaS tools
Familiarity with marketing automation systems
Experience working with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
💰 Compensation + Setup
This is a contract-based role, and hours will depend on the client package assigned. You’ll start with one test account, and grow into more if your performance is solid. Client packages range from 20 to 200 hours/month, shared with the rest of the team.
